Rongali – Annual event celebrating the essence of Assam

An event/festival to promote the rich cultural diversity of Assam, ‘Rongali’ will be held from 3rd to 5th April 2015 at Veterinary College Ground, Khanapara, Guwahati. It is being organised by Socio-Cultural organization Trend MMS in association with Hotel & Restaurant Association of Assam (HRAA).

‘Rongali – Celebrating the essence of Assam’ is an attempt to showcase Assam, its cultural mosaic, rich history with its present structure of diverse social structure and to make the State a destination of importance and attraction. Rongali would showcase the entire essence of the State including its cultural history, its icons, handloom, music, dance, magic, handicrafts, and it would showcase the age-old harmony of various tribes and communities.

Various activities are planned during the event starting from Handicrafts exhibition, Ethnic food festival, Photography exhibition, Fashion shows to vibrant cultural programs.
